I just finished this quilt top! I've had this fabulous Shangri-La Jelly Roll for over a year and finally decided to chop into it. I used this pattern in a twin size by Cozy Quilt Designs. This was my first coin quilt and I really loved using this pattern. It was easy as pie.
I really love each and every one of these fabrics. And the blue print for the background and borders gives me heart palpitations.
I looooove you my precious blue fabric.
Now maybe I can stop eating these.
But they are my friends. And they match my rotary cutter and my tape measure.
That's a good reason to have them around right? It wouldn't be so bad if the bag wasn't so.. so.. large. It's gigantic. Almost... bottomless, if you will.
Ok, seriously. If any of you really care about me, now is the time for an intervention.
Maybe I can give them up when this quilt is actually finished. I better get back to work. x
Oh my, that quilt took my breath away. The blue fabric absolutely makes the coins pop! Love, love, love the fabric!

Beautiful, you must be so pleased! I have also made one of these using Decadent Victorian Jelly roll. Blue is one of my favourites colours too and I know just how you feel!

OK, I will intervene and tell you that the quilt is absolutely gorgeous, and I'm not just sayin' that!

Beautiful - I LOVE the blue fabric too. And don't ask me to intervene about the peanut m&ms... my sewing table has a stash of mint chocolate right now! I wouldn't be helpful!!! :)

That is a seriously gorgeous quilt! I agree about the lovely blue. Have you ever been in the M & M store in Las Vegas? :o)

Oh, that's gorgeous! The blue you sashed it in is just perfect!

Love it. the whole M&M rotary cutter, pin cushion etc... you crack me up.
You are the way about blues as I am about browns... I have so many browns, that i am afraid to cut into them and make something WRONG with them...and then there is that big stash of jolly ranchers, and gummy bears... But they don't match anything.... ;-) wink!

I love this quilt! Can't wait to see it totally finished. What kind of cool stitching are you going to do to finish it?
I see nothing wrong with eating a bottomless bag of M&M's... that's one of the best things in life!! Until you start to feel the bottom of the bag as you reach in and go... wait... did I do that?? ;)

Beautificious! I love that fabric. In fact the diagonal stripe? I used that in a baby quilt that's out being quilted right now. It's also going to be the binding.

The quilt is beautiful. The colours so good together.
I like the phrase "For goodness sake just sew woman" in your header. I'm going to say that to myself as I seem to have sewers block at the moment.

Oh goodness, now you've done it! Made me feel guilty about a similar quilt that I need to finish. Maybe I'll have to go get the giant bag of peanut M&M's to help me along. Beautiful quilt!

I love your spring quilt...and the blue fabric!!! I have a jelly roll of Shangri-La that I've been saving...but sadly none of the wonderful blue!

Beautiful quilt top, your colors are so harmonious.
Those giant re-sealable bags of M&Ms are also going to be the death of me. I just can't help myself.

Ha! So THAT's where the bag of M&M's went. I looked in the pantry the other day and it was GONE. I forgot how much you loved them. To tell you the truth, I suspected #1, but now we know. And did you make that quilt for my room??? You could bribe me into extra time for yourself if you let me have it!!!

Love the quilt! Great Fabrics! have you had the dark chocolate M & M's? We can't get enough of them at our house.

Beautiful quilt top. I'm working on a Chinese Coin Quilt too at the moment...it is one of my favourite designs.

Wow, that is a gorgeous quilt. I love how you picked up the blues in the Shangri-La fabrics. It looks really great.
I am also held captive by giant peanut M&M bags from BJ's. I can go through one in less than a week, no kidding. They are way too addictive.

I absolutely enjoy your blog so much! Not only is it always good for a giggle, the pictures of your beautiful quilts and other goodies are just so inspiring to me. I also am a peanut M&M addict, so I can relate to that giant bag! Thanks for such a great blog.
