The Cottage Magpie is hosting a color challenge! April was yellow, perfect for spring! I got to do a little spring planting yesterday, I can't wait to have colorful flowers sprinkled around the edges of my yard. It's too rainy today to take pictures of the flowers soooo .... I searched around the house for some pretty yellow things......here's what I came up with:
I absolutely loooove yellow, in all it's beautiful shades. Join in the yellow challenge! This was fun!
Hi Sarah, so nice to see. The yellow makes the day a bit brighter. We have had rain, too today :((
The first picture, is it an apron with a little towel? What a great idea! And wonderful nice fabrics in lovely colors (you know what I mean...haha..)
Hugs

Hi Sarah!
What pretty photos. I love the cherub fabric.
Like Lisa, I also have a love/hate relationship with yellow. Now, blue is a different story..
Take care,

I totally know what you mean about a 'love/hate' with yellow Lisa and Binny. I used to HATE yellow! I only thought of it as bright and garrish.... like McDonalds yellow. But the warmer, softer, prettier shades have grown on me. I even painted my girls room a pretty buttercream yellow which I love! xx

I, too, have that love/hate thing with yellow - but my living room walls are painted a more buttercream "cornbread" color! In any case, your yellows are definitely springy - love those old spools of thread. What do you have planned for the stacks of fabric? Love that fabric.

Ohhh I remember the pillowcase with the butterfly on it! It was so soft, probably because it's so very very old. This is a great site by the way, very nice job on the photos. Clever girl... :)
